A Journey by Train Paragraph For SSC / HSC
A journey is a source of pleasure. Everyone has a fascination for making journeys. I am very much fond of a train journey because it is very pleasant and enjoyable to me. During the last winter vacation, I along with my parents made a journey by train from Ishwardi to Jessore. We were to attend the wedding ceremony of my maternal uncle in Jessore. We reached the station timely and bought tickets. At 1.00 pm, we got into the Sundarban Express from Ishwardi station. I got my seat beside a window. After a while, the train blew its whistle and started moving slowly. Then it geared up its speed with a harmonious sound Jhik.:.Jhika…Jhik. While it was passing the Hardinge Bridge over the Padma, the harmonious sound of the train got sharp and unique. I looked below to see the river Padma. The river was almóst dry. A little stream was at its middle. My mind got gloomy. After passing the bridge, the train was passing through the small stations, green fields, bushes everything. I forgot my sorrow and started enjoying the beautiful sights. Everything was coming to sight and disappearing. I was charmed at them. The train reached Jessore at 4:00 pm. We got down off the train and saw that my uncle was waiting at the station. The journey gave me much pleasure and experience.
