My Favourite Hobby (Composition Writing)
Every man has his own favourite hobby. It gives him pleasure and joy. It is not his main duty or profession. I also have a favourite hobby and it is gardening.
I am a student and my main business is to study. I study seriously and I always do good in my examination. I know “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”, So I want to have leisure. I find interest in gardening. The time that I spend in my garden is not lost because it strengthens my body and refreshes my mind.
I take care of my garden regularly. My garden is in the front yard of our house. Early in the morning and late afternoon, I go to my garden. Sometimes I go with a spade in order to loosen the soil or to pull out the weeds. I have various kinds of flower plants in my garden. I always keep on planting new ones. There are always some flowers in my garden. I am a lover of red roses and a portion of my garden is occupied by rose plants. I take special care of them because I love them very much.
My garden helps me to keep fit physically and mentally. A little physical work that I do in the garden keeps me fit physically. This increases my appetite and I enjoy good health Again, the eye-catching beauty and sweet scents of the flowers remove all the anxiety and weariness in my mind. I really enjoy watching the red roses tossing their heads in the gentle breeze. Sometimes I share my joy with my friends by inviting them to my garden. On different occasions, they also come to me for flowers. I feel happy when I can satisfy their needs. However, another interesting aspect of my garden is that I have used a portion of my garden for growing all season vegetables. My mother highly appreciates my effort when I supply her with vegetables.
Hobby becomes meaningful only for those types of people who are engaged in hard work. We need a hobby to make our life pleasant. My favourite hobby is a source of physical and mental well being. I really feel proud of my favourite hobby.

Gardening: I have turned a small patch of ground into a flower garden. I feel happy to go to my garden after my school hours and look at the young plants nodding their heads in the gentle breeze. The sight of the flowers. is a joy to me. When the flowers dance in the sun, their unparalleled beauty makes my heart dance with them. After my return from school in the evening, I do not lose much time in going to my garden. I pull out the weeds and grasses around the roots of my plants. A turn up the soil around them and make it loose with the help of a small spade. I take delight in watering the young plant. I feel very happy when I have spent a quiet time in my garden in the evening. Then I go back to my study with flesh energy and made my lesson with undivided attention.
Conclusion: Almost all the varieties of flowers grown in differènt seasons may be found in my garden. In the morning it looks very charming. All the plants are then in flower. The flowers are of different sizes and hues. Bees go about humming from one flower to the other. I never let anyone pluck flowers from my garden. So I have put a strong bamboo fencing around it.
