My dear Shipu
I hope you are keeping well. I am fine too. In your last letter, you wanted to know about the picnic I had recently been to. Let me give you a description of the picnic.1, along with some of my friends, had decided to go on a picnic. According to the discussion, we went to the picnic on 25 February 2016. We all had decided to go to Sonargaon. You know it is a place of historical interest. We began to take preparation beforehand. We first hired a minibus to go there. We also took other necessary things with us. The hired minibus took us to the place without any difficulties. We reached there before the expected time. Reaching there we visited Panam city. Once it was the capital of Bengal. This city is now ruined though some works of the Mughal period such as 52 buildings, ponds, artificial canals, bridges, etc. are still visible. Those beautiful buildings charmed me much. We took many photos of that area. As we had taken with us cooked food, we did not have to cook. After having lunch, we visited the Folk Arts Museum nearby. It is a place that captures and preserves the culture and traditions of the people of Bangladesh. We also roamed around the area for a while. The surrounding scenery was also charming. However, after staying there till 6 pm, we left the picnic spot for our home and we reached home without trouble. Really, Sonargaon is a significant historical place. It apprises our glorious part. I enjoyed the whole picnic. I left Sonargaon but the memory still peep into my mind more often. I would like to recommend you to visit the place.
Yours ever
Sohel
