I hope you are doing well. I received your letter yesterday. You wanted to know about the celebration of the ‘Independence Day’ that took place in my college. Well, here goes the story.
It was an amazing event. It was organized in the college auditorium. Many of the freedom fighters came and gave their valuable and inspiring speeches. They talked about the liberation war and what it cost us to get our independence. They also requested us to work for the welfare of the nation.
The college was decorated in red and green. There was a book fair on the college playground from where students like us could buy books about the liberation war and the language movement. I bought three books on the liberation war and two books on the language movement. There were good food stalls too. I had a great time with my teachers and friends. I wish you were here too.
