The first of May is known as May Day’ or ‘International Workers’ Day’ and is observed almost all over the world. The day is observed to commemorate the workers who sacrificed their lives in Chicago in May 1886, On May 3, 1886 police fired up in a gathering of strikers who demanded their rights at the McCormick Harvest Machine Company, Chicago.
