The fairs are held in an open place or in auditoriums or in big hall-rooms. In our country, the largest book fair is held on the premises of Bangla Academy on the occasion of 21st February. All kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children’s literature, story books, etc. are usually available at a book fair. A book fair usually remains crowded. A Book Fair I Have Recently Visited (200 Words) For Ssc Student
A book fair is an exhibition of books. A book fair has nowadays become very popular. In a book fair, various Uses of books by different writers are displayed and sold. Every year, in February, a large book fair is held on the premises of Bangla Academy commemorating the sacrifice of the language martyrs. It is called ‘Ekushey Bọi Mela’. This year I visited the fair. It was well decorated with banners, festoons, etc. As soon as I approached the fair, the memory of the martyrs of the language movement peeped into my mind. There I found numerous stalls displaying books on different subjects namely fiction, textbook, drama, novel, poetry, science, and so on. People of all ages and classes came to enjoy the fair. I bought some books on literature namely Nazrul’s ‘Bisher Banshi’, Tagore’s ‘Naukadubi’, Jasim Uddin’s ‘Shojón Badiar Ghat’ etc. Many literary persons attended the fair and increased the charm. Luckily, I managed to take autographs of some of them. In the afternoon a seminar on the language movement was held. A book fair is a kind of fair where different types of books are displayed for sale. Nowadays, it has become very popular in our country. Last month, 1 visited a book fair. I went there with my elder brother. The fair was arranged for the occasion of 21st February. It was held at the Bangla Academy Premises. As it was my first visit to a book fair, I was really surprised when I entered the fair. There were hundreds of stalls at the fair. The environment was really charming. The stalls were arranged systematically. There were information counters. There were also some stalls for taking snacks. My brother took me to the whole area. I saw that all kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children’s literature, storybooks, etc. were available at the fair. I bought some books on science fiction and comics. After walking for a long time, we became tired. So, we entered in a food stall and took some light foods.
